Directions from Terminal

From the baggage claim area go through customs. Before exiting customs area, the Enterprise rental counter is located on the left. If you happen to exit the customs area you will not be able to re-enter, but there is always an Enterprise agent in the passenger waiting area to walk you to the shuttle. Go to Enterprise counter and an agent will walk you to the shuttle bus - you will then be taken to the Enterprise rental facility. Upon arrival to the facility, please proceed to the Enterprise counter to obtain your rental agreement and vehicle keys.

Rental Policies

• All additional drivers must meet all rental requirements.

• Additional drivers must appear at the rental counter with the primary renter.

• Additional drivers must sign the rental agreement.

• An additional daily fee may apply for any Additional Drivers.

 

The additional driver can only be added to the contract at the pickup location.

 

The maximum number of additional drivers permitted per rental is unlimited.

 

Chauffeur/Driver Service is available at $100 per day up to 12 hours. If service exceeds 12 hours the charge is $16 per hour. Service includes driver and a midsize vehicle, fuel, CDW-TP, PAI and PLI. Minimum age to rent a vehicle is 21, and the maximum rental age is 75 years.
Drivers between the ages of 21 and 24 will incur an additional daily fee.

Cross-border travel is exclusively permitted to the country of Guatemala at a surcharge of 100.00 USD. In addition, the customer must purchase a cross-border permit from the rental station at a cost of 50.00 USD. The cross-border permit must be purchased 72 hours in advance. Cross-border travel is only permitted for reservations with a minimum rental length of 7 days.

Roadside service is available to customers in the permitted countries for an additional fee.

Customer must pre-arrange delivery or collection of vehicle in advance.

Delivery/Collection is available at no cost.

All one-way hires must be booked in advance and are subject to availability.

One-way charges apply and are payable at time of hire.

One-way charges cannot be prepaid.

Collision Damage Waiver - Theft Protection (CDW-TP) is not insurance. The rental location requires CDW-TP protection to rent some categories of vehicles (Premium and above) unless you purchase the EnterpriseProtection Package (EPP) which includes CDW-TP. If you purchase CDW-TP, the rental company contractually waives your responsibility for the cost of damage to, loss or theft of the vehicle (after the deductible) during the rental period in El Salvador unless you invalidate the coverage as provided in the rental agreement.

A deductible of up to $3,000 USD will apply for CDW depending on car class. A deductible of $7,000 USD will apply in the case of theft of the vehicle.

If CDW-TP and EPP are both declined, the renter is responsible for the full cost of damage or the full value of the vehicle.

Enterprise Protection Package (EPP) special pricing includes Collision Damage Waiver (CDW), Theft Protection (TP), Third-Party Liability (TPL) and Excess Protection (EP). EPP is not insurance. If you purchase EPP, the hire company contractually waives your responsibility for the cost of damage to and loss or theft of the vehicle, damages and injuries to third parties during the hire period in El Salvador unless you invalidate the coverage as provided in the rental agreement. TPL provides coverage up to the policy limit for accident-related expenses not pertaining to the hire vehicle.


No excess applies.

As a customer, you have a choice as to how you would like to pay for fuel.

Option 1- We refill - This option allows the renter to pay at the end of the rental for gas used but not replaced.  Price per gallon will be higher than local fuel prices. A 50% surcharge will apply.

Option 2- You refill - This option allows the renter to return the vehicle with a full tank of gas to avoid extra fuel charges.

Personal Accident Insurance (PAI1)The purchase of personal accident insurance is optional and not required to rent a vehicle

Personal Accident Insurance covers ambulance service, doctors, hospitalization and nurses for each passenger in the vehicle, with a maximum limit of $5,000  per event.

A passport in addition to a credit card, with available credit and in the renters name, must be presented.  The signature on the back must match the name imprinted on the card.  In addition, if the renter has an online transaction, the number and name printed on the card presented by renter must match the name and number stored for the online transaction.

Credit Cards honored: American Express, MasterCard, VISA, Diners Club

An authorization on the credit card in the amount of 1000 USD plus the cost of the rental will be taken at the time of rental.  This authorization amount may be used toward damages of vehicles or late charges.

Debit-check cards are considered to be any non-credit card American Express, MasterCard, VISA, Diners Club, Discover logo. Debit-Check cards are not accepted at this location.

Cash is not accepted at this location.

Roadside Assistance Protection (RAP)  If selected and paid for at the time of rental, Roadside Assistance is available 24/7 without additional charges.

RAP includes towing (not related to an accident), flat tire service (if no inflated spare is available, vehicle will be towed), and lockout service (if keys are locked inside the vehicle). Jumpstarts and fuel delivery service for up to 5 gallons (or equivalent liters) of fuel is also provided. Tire damage beyond repair as a result of driver neglect is the responsibility of the renter.

If the rental vehicle is not able to be repair, customer will be given a replacement vehicle.

Must meet the location's minimum age requirements.

Present a valid driver's license.

Present a major credit card in renter's name at the time of rental.

This location accepts notarized Chinese Drivers License.

International drivers must provide a valid license from their country of residence. In addition to the drivers license, if the characters are not in English or Latin characters, an international drivers permit is recommended. If the drivers license is in characters other than Latin, an International permit is required or a Notarized English Translation is accepted.

Third Party Liability (TPL) protection is required by the rental company unless the customer provides proof of valid insurance or Enterprise Protection Package (EPP) is purchased. TPL provides liability coverage for accident related expenses not pertaining to the rental vehicle, up to the policy limit, subject to the actions listed on the rental agreement that invalidate TPL.

A deductible of up to $250 USD applies.
