Exit the baggage claim area and after customs proceed to the rental car area, where you will find the rental counter at the international terminal.

Rental Policies

All additional drivers must meet all rental requirements.
Additional drivers must appear at the rental counter with the primary renter.
Additional drivers must sign the rental agreement.
An additional daily fee may apply for any Additional Drivers.

The additional driver can only be added to the contract at the pick up location.

The minimum age requirement for all vehicles is 23. There is no maximum rental age. Drivers between the ages of 23 and 25 will incur an additional daily fee (USD $15 + taxes).

Delivery and Collection is available at Aeropuerto International Jorge Chavez and arrangements must be made directly with the renting location. 

 Delivery and Collection has an additional charge to hotels and offices within Lima.

All one-way hires must be booked in advance and are subject to availability.

One-way charges apply and are payable at time of hire.

One-way charges cannot be prepaid.

Collision Damage Waiver-Theft Protection (CDW-TP) is not insurance. The rental location requires CDW-TP protection to rent a vehicle, unless you present written proof that your credit card provides collision and theft protection or unless you purchase the Enterprise Protection package (EPP) which includes CDW-TP. If you purchase CDW-TP, the rental company contractually waives your responsibility for the cost of damage to, loss or theft of the vehicle, after the deductible of $1,500 USD.

Enterprise Protection Package (EPP) is a package product which includes Collision Damage Waiver-Theft Protection (CDW-TP), Tyre and Windshield Protection (TWP), Third-Party Liability (TPL) and Excess Protection (EP) at a discounted price.  Enterprise Protection Package (EPP) is not insurance.   If you purchase APP, the hire company contractually waives your responsibility for the cost of damage to and loss or theft of the vehicle, and for damages and injuries to third parties up to the policy limits during the hire period in Peru subject to the actions listed on the rental agreement that invalidate the coverage as described in the rental agreement.

No excess applies.

As a customer, you have a choice as to how you would like to pay for fuel.

Option 1- We Refill
This option allows the renter to pay National at the end of the rental for gas used but not replaced. Price per gallon will be higher than local fuel prices. A 25% surcharge will apply.

Option 2- You Refill
This option allows the renter to return the vehicle with a full tank of gas to avoid extra fuel charges.

Driving restricted within the country of Peru only.

Personal Accident Insurance (PAI) The purchase of Personal Accident Insurance (PAI) is optional and not required to rent a vehicle. PAI covers ambulance service, doctors, hospitalization and nurses for each passenger in the vehicle, with a maximum limit of 8,000.00 USD per person, maximum five passengers. Also includes a life insurance with a maximum of 40,000.00 USD per person.

A passport in addition to a credit card, with available credit and in the renter's name must be presented. The signature on the back must match the name imprinted on the card. In addition, if the renter has an online transaction, the number and name printed on the card must match the infornation stored for the online transaction.

Credit Cards Honored: American Express, Mastercard, VISA, Diners Club.

An authorization of $1,000 USD plus the estimated rental charge will be placed on credit card. This authorization amount may be used toward damages of vehicles or late charges.

Debit/Check cards are only accepted at this location as a form of final payment. Debit/Check cards are considered to be any non-credit card with American Express, Mastercard, Visa, Diners Club logo. Any other non-credit card without one of these logos are not accepted.

 

Roadside assistance (RAP) must be selected and paid for at the time of rental. The owner offers roadside assistance that operates from 6 AM to 10 PM, available 7 days a week (only in Lima) without additional charges. Customers should call +511-574-1374 or +51 944 455 708 (WhatsApp) for roadside assistance.

If the customer is outside Lima, RAP only includes towing services.

In case of an accident, the police must be notified. They will conduct a mandatory drug and alcohol test.

Customers must have a valid drivers license from the country of origin.

Must meet the location's minimum age requiements to rent.

Must present a major credit card in the renter's name at the time of rental.

A customer can drive in country using their drivers licensee from country of origin for up to 60 days. If staying in country longer, they will needs an International driving permit.

International drivers must provide a valid license from their country of residence. In addition to the drivers license, if the characheters are not in English or Latin characters, an international drivers permit is recommended. If the drivers license is in characters other than Latin, an International permit is required or a Notarized English Translation is accepted.

Third Party Liability (TPL) The purchase of Third Party Liability (TPL) is required by the rental location on all vehicles unless you provide proof of liability coverage or purchase the Enterprise Protection Package (EPP), which includes TPL.  Customers can obtain coverage for damages and injuries to third parties, up to the policy limits, under the local rental car company's insurance by purchasing its TPL protection, and such a purchase is required unless the customer presents valid written proof of current liability insurance specifying coverage in Peru or if the customer purchases Enterprise Protection Package (EPP) which includes TPL.  TPL provides coverage for incidents which occur during the rental period in Peru. TPL coverage is subject to the actions listed on the rental agreement that invalidate the coverage as described in the rental agreement. A deductible of up to $5,000 USD applies.Please be aware that most auto insurance policies from outside of Peru do not provide coverage in Peru. Liability insurance purchased on third party travel websites is not an acceptable form of coverage. Employees of the local rental car company are not qualified to evaluate the adequacy of the customer's personal auto insurance coverage. The renter should contact their insurance company prior to arrival with any questions regarding their specific coverage.
